| “Friendship Brownies” Recipe

If you’re acquiring a brownie craving and want a speedy and easy recipe, I highly recommend trying the Friendship Brownie recipe below. This is by far my preferred brownie recipe. I have created quite a few other brownie recipes, like one from the usually very good Mrs. Field’s Cookie Book, but none of them compare to this recipe. If you really like Chocolate as significantly as I do, you have got to consider this recipe.

Friendship Brownies

Dry Components
one Cup plus 2 Tbps flour
two/three Cup brown sugar
three/four Tsp salt
two/three Cup sugar
1 Tsp baking powder
1/3 Cup baking cocoa
one/2 Cup Ghirardelli chocolate chips (I add 1 Cup )
one/two Cup chopped walnuts

Wet Indgredients
3 eggs
two/3 Cup vegetable oil
1 Tsp Vanilla

To Put together Brownies: In a bowl, beat eggs, vegetable oil and vanilla. Add the dry ingredients and stir effectively.

Spread into a greased 9″ square baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 34-38 minutes or right up until a toothpick inserted close to the center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack.

To make a Friendship Brownie gift, simply do the following:

one. Layer the dry ingredients only from the recipe above into a 1-quart glass jar.
2. Close the jar with a tight-fitting lid.
3. Form the recipe above on a decorative recipe card.
four. Punch a hole in the upper-left corner of the recipe card and thread a fairly ribbon or yard by way of it for tying all around the neck of the jar.
5. Add a bow on the jar lid for extra decoration (optional).
