Here’s an awesome and quite simple 1. If you don’t want to use cranberries, feel free to use strawberry or raspberry as your topping, but the cranberry topping is genuinely good and an absolutely lovely red.

The only change that you need to make to avoid the cheesecake from cracking is not to bake it at 350 degrees for 45 minutes as the directions state, but bake the cake at 350 degrees F for 15 minutes, leave it in the oven without opening the oven, and lower the oven temperature to 200 degrees F and bake the cake for another 75 minutes.

easy recipe for cheesecake: I’m looking for a simple cheesecake recipe?
I’ve looked through cookbooks and the world wide web, and the majority of what I’ve identified has been truly complex recipes that need ingredients that I don’t even require and in big quantities. I’d like to get a thick cheesecake with a creamy texture (it’s an odd sentence, but lets just focus on the cake here) Do you have a preferred recipe, or any tips as to where I could find what I require?

This is the Best cheesecake I’ve ever had, and it’s not as well complicated!
Ingredients
15 graham crackers, crushed
two tablespoons butter, melted
four (8 ounce) packages cream cheese
1 1/two cups white sugar
3/4 cup milk
4 eggs
one cup sour cream
one tablespoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup all-objective flour
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9 inch springform pan.
In a medium bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs with melted butter. Press onto bottom of springform pan.
In a big bowl, mix cream cheese with sugar right up until smooth. Blend in milk, and then mix in the eggs a single at a time, mixing just enough to integrate. Mix in sour cream, vanilla and flour till smooth. Pour filling into prepared crust.
Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour. Turn the oven off, and let cake cool in oven with the door closed for 5 to six hours this prevents cracking. Chill in refrigerator till serving.

Zest of a lemon.
Zest of an orange.
Caster sugar – to taste (about two tbsp).
Half a packet of chocolate digestives – crushed.
25g of butter.
Grated chocolate and orange segments to decorate.
Melt the butter and mix with the crushed digestives. Place the mixture in the bottom of a 15cm loose bottomed cake tin and firm down making use of the back of a spoon.
Mix the marscapone and drained yoghurt in a bowl, add the zest and the sugar. Taste – add more sugar if necessary.
Spread the mixture more than the base evenly.
Refrigerate for an hour or so. Decorate with grated chocolate and orange segments.
Serves eight.
The lime version is great too.

Go to the grocery store and buy some cheesecake filling and a crust. Follow the directions. Get some cherry pie filling and top it.

LikeDislikeWell, it sounds like your trying to get out of baking duty here…cheesecake is timeless, and is of no way “easy” (at least not any cheesecake worth eating!) There are many simplified recipies however, but you actually have to “bake” to accomplish this. Its not hard…just quit whining n do it if you want a REAL cheesecake. Otherwise, Jello has a “so-so” no-bake cheesecake fluff stuff….(gag)
Buzz me for a great recipe!

Recipe courtesy Alton Brown
Show: Good Eats
Episode: Cheesecake
Crust:
33 graham cracker squares, crumbled
4 ounces (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted, plus additional, for brushing the pan
1 tablespoon sugar
Filling:
20 ounces cream cheese
1 1/4 cups sour cream
1 cup sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
2 eggs
3 yolks
1/3 cup heavy cream
Preheat oven to 300 degrees F. Brush some of the melted butter around a 9 by 3-inch cake pan. Adhere parchment to the bottom and the sides.
In a small bowl, combine crumbled graham crackers, the remaining melted butter, and 1 tablespoon of sugar. Press 2/3 of the mixture into the bottom of the parchment-lined pan. Place remaining crumbs on a sheet pan and bake both the crust and the remaining mixture for 10 minutes. Cool. Reserve additional crumb mixture for sides.
In a mixer with a paddle attachment, beat sour cream for 10 seconds. Add the cream cheese and sugar and mix on low for 30 seconds and then turn up to medium. Scrape the bowl.
In a separate container, combine vanilla, eggs, yolks, and heavy cream. With the mixer on medium, slowly pour the liquid mixture in. When half of it is incorporated, stop and scrape. Continue adding the mixture until the rest of the ingredients are incorporated. Once completely combined, pour into the cooled crust.
Lower oven temperature to 250 degrees F. Place cheesecake into a preheated water bath, in the oven for 1 hour. Turn the oven off and open the door for one minute. Close the door for one more hour. Remove the cheesecake from the water bath and place in the refrigerator for 6 hours to completely cool before serving.
When ready to serve, place the entire cake pan into a hot water bath for about 15 seconds. Unmold onto a cake round or serving dish. Take the remaining graham cracker mixture and press into the sides of the cake.
To slice, place your knife into a hot water bath and wipe dry each time you make a pass through the cake.
