Frozen Tiramisu
** **
To change the traditional tiramisu is a recipe I found on Marmiton (tiramisu ice) and I changed my sauce slightly alcoholic. If my memory is good in Italian it means “back to me” that is a nutritious dessert to get back on feet
200 grams of mascarpone
20 cl cream
cocoa powder
15 ladyfingers
4 eggs
250 grams of brown sugar (or sugar)
icing sugar
Kahlua (or strong coffee)
2 tablespoons marsala or whatever you want
Beat sugar and egg yolks and marsala with electric mixer until the mixture foams, then add the mascarpone and beat well off,
Beat the egg whites until stiff and by the end incorporate 1 tablespoon icing sugar for them to “hold”
Beat in whipped cream with 1 tablespoon icing sugar
If you do not know how whipped this paragraph is for you, not very “Catholic” but it works:
put the cream in a container with high sides to the whips of electric mixer (not the motor!) in the cream and put it in the freezer for about 15 to 20 minutes, checking occasionally and remove when the cream begins just freeze at the edges of the container, beat the cream on the highest speed of mixer and when the cream has a good consistency add a tablespoon of icing sugar
Crush the boudoir to pieces,
Gently mix the whites and whipped mascarpone mixture,
For installation here in individual glasses of 27 cl:
make a mixed layer of ladyfingers and sprinkle crushed you moisten with 2 teaspoons Kahlua (coffee liqueur) and then another layer of cream sprinkled with cocoa powder, repeat the whole process once and freeze (the original recipe recommends 5 pm):
